UDG No Drill Installation Kits
This kit allows for an easy, no drill installation of our UDG Safety Gates. This No Drill Kit offers a great alternative to drilling holes or welding plate.
All the hardware in this kit is 304 stainless steel. Inquiries for larger size, or hot dipped galvanized, are welcomed with a minimum order quantity of 75 pieces. Any custom inquiry will likely have a higher cost and lead time.
No Drill Kits have 18 different mounting orientations. Whereas previous kits only had 2 orientations.
Kit specific details:
Angle/Flat Iron Installation Kit – for guardrails up to 2 ½” angle
Pipe Installation Kit – for pipe guardrails up to 2” (2-3/8” OD)
Square Tube Installation Kit – for square tube guardrails up to 2 ½” square

Installation Instructions
(1) Bolt the UDG Safety Gate to the Angle Plate with the hardware supplied with the gate.
(2) Rest the Angle Plate/Gate assembly on the midrail. Loosely attach Flat Plate and Carriage Bolts, sandwiching the vertical post.
(3) Place the ISP Spacer Block in between the vertical post and Flat Plate.
(4) Slide the Angle Plate/Gate assembly up the vertical post to the desired height and tighten.
(5) Bolt the UDG Support Block to the additional Angle Plate with the hardware supplied with the block.
(6) Loosely attach the Angle Plate/Block assembly opposite the hinge with the supplied Flat Plate and Carriage Bolts.
(7) Place the ISP Spacer Block in between the vertical post and Flat Plate.
(8) Slide the Angle Plate/Block assembly up the vertical post stopping when the block is about 1” below the top horizontal gate bar. Once in position, tighten.
Installation Instructions
(1) Bolt the UDG Safety Gate to the Angle Plate with the hardware supplied with the gate.
(2) Rest the Angle Plate/Gate assembly on the midrail. Loosely attach U-Bolts.
(3) Slide the Angle Plate/Gate assembly up the vertical pipe to the desired height and tighten.
(4) Bolt the UDG Support Block to the additional Angle Plate with the hardware supplied with the block.
(5) Loosely attach the Angle Plate/Block assembly opposite the hinge with the supplied U-Bolts.
(6) Slide the Angle Plate/Block assembly up the vertical pipe stopping when the block is about 1” below the top horizontal gate bar. Once in position, tighten.
