Principally, the hooks are employed to elevate work lines, thus avoiding tripping hazards. This feature is particularly useful in high activity areas or limited work areas such as during plant turnarounds and aboard ships and offshore rigs.
Because the hooks are molded of a glass-filled polyester, they are non-conductive and have smooth edges that will not cut or abrade the work lines. They can be used to hold electrical lines, air lines, water hoses, welding leads, and hydraulic lines. They are very easy to install almost anywhere and can be reused on many future jobs.
